I have only completed a bit more on Sugilite, so no pic, but I hope to rectify that this weekend! Jill and I are heading to Alexandria, Virginia to take in the Woodlawn exhibit and a shopping trip to In Stitches. We are staying overnight somewhere in the vicinity and making it our own little "retreat."
This past week I purchased the Needlework 4 travel stand with the frame clamp for my needlepoint projects. Can't wait to get it! I will be able to take this along with me to retreats and such.
I also received the most recent issue of Needlepoint Now and fell in love with the handpainted canvas on the cover by Maggie & Co. I hemmed and hawed and finally purchased it from Amy's Golden Strand. My first handpainted canvas!!
Until next time...

You'll love the stand, I've had mine for 4-5 years now and its the best thing I ever did for myself. LOVE IT!
I know that you are going to have a great time at Woodlawn! I have been wanting a stand for a while now.. I don't know if I could use one. I am use to sitting in a recliner and leaning to the left and stitching... lol Do you have to sit up straight? lol I may have a problem with that...
Have a fun stitchy shopping trip!
That's a pretty design - have fun stitching it!
I wish I had known you all were in town I would have loved to meet you. I went to the show at Woodlawn it was fantastic.
