And I don't like all the crazy colors. It's too much. It is actually causing me stress! LOL. So, I have decided to do the project in the original colors. Now I just have to get them. And Ivory Jobelan to stitch it all on. I don't have to start work until 11:30 today, so I may take a ride to The Stitching Post (again!) and pick up the fabric and a few of the threads, just to get started. I have a full punch card, so I'll at least get $6 off my purchase.
I'll post a pic when I get started...again...sigh.

omg....
Oh, I'm so sorry that the colors weren't working out. What you picked out is so lovely.
Well, I've been there, done that. You tried and now you are moving down a path you'd rather travel. I say hooray for you!
i have stitched the first row and part of the second in the original colours and i must say i really hate them. :-) and it isn't even just the muddy colours, it is stitching with wildflowers. some of the colours have almost no twist and others are twisted tight.
there is a mistake in the chart for the center part. the designer sent me the corrected page. the page in the chart is oriented wrong so the stair step is out-of-whack.
it's funny, when i saw the replacement fibers you chose i thought, wow, those will be beautiful! but i simply can't afford to change out threads so this piece will get put away and probably eventually dumped in the trash. and i am stuck with a boatload of threads i don't like!
