I visited The Stitching Post today and picked up the newest Lizzie Kate, Last Minute December Kit. I am using the linen that came with the kit and the recommended threads.
I was supposed to do a private ornament exchange with Melissa at My Life In Stitches, but due to other commitments I had to back out. So, imagine my surprise when this fabulous ornament showed up in my mailbox on Saturday. It could not have come at a more wonderful time, as my spirits were low and I was not feeling very Christmassy. I cannot express how kind and thoughtful this was of Melissa. I will treasure this ornament always.

Oh, that Melissa is a SWEETHEART! A lovely ornament to receive. Isn't it odd how things tend to show up out-of-the-blue just when you need them the most?
