Visiting with a friend...and stitching progress!

Today I met up with the wonderful Jill at The Stitching Post for some stashing and then to Peace A Pizza afterwards, where we enjoyed a slice and a nice chat.  I had not seen Jill since July, so it was very nice to visit in person.  I am so very thankful for meeting Jill in person over a year ago and developing a friendship over this time.  The stitching world can be a very lonely place without someone to share it with who gets everything you are saying!  And on the way out I found a $10 bill in the parking lot!!!  Yeahhhhhh....

I bought some threads I needed and these two patterns, a Lizzie Kate and a Little House Needleworks ornament.

I have been working on Bent Creek's Thankful Quaker using the recommended overdyed threads on 14 count Ecru perforated paper.  I am enjoying it very much so far!

This Friday I travel to Laurel for a needlework retreat and to see the Montpelier Needlearts show.  Very much looking forward to it!

Until next time...
