Smash book update

Here are some pages from my Smash book, diagrams of stitches I like or want to remember, a wish list of canvases, notes, tips, whatever.  Canvases I want!  I have a bunch of full-page articles I have cut out of my Needlepoint Now magazines.  I need to get them in the book.  Every page has a different design.

I also added some snippets to my August jar last night.

And I made a small change to my canvas.  The right side of the canvas was drawn unevenly.  It looked like there was a chunk out of part of it.  Just the artist's take on it, but the OCD side of me had not liked it from the start, so I drew a faint line to make it more even, bought some Liquitex white professional paint from Michaels and painted the canvas and extended the vase at that part.  Can you tell?  I think it turned out
well.

I do have to say I do not like canvases that have the black lines drawn around the items.  I just like when it is painted.  Do you know what I mean?
Until next time...

I bought my first smash book a couple of weeks ago - I thought it would be fun to create a smash book instead of a scrapbook for E's recent trip to Australia.

After I bought one for him, I had to buy one for myself! I haven't started doing anything with it yet, but I think it's pretty cool, and I can't wait to get started!

Your needlepoint is beautiful! The crooked lines would bug me too. I can't tell where you fixed it.
