Update on Strawberry Shortcake!

Of course I go against convention and start at the outside of each square and work my way inside.  Each square is comprised of four parts and the designer says to start in the middle of each square and work outward.  It is just easier for me to start at the outside and work my way in.

I work counted canvas the same way. I like to work within a border. Your progress is looking beautiful.

Looks beautiful with those gorgeous colors.

When I used to do needlepoint many moons ago, I found that when I worked from the outside in, the canvas was kind of distorted by the time I got to the center and the stitches got really crowded. But I worked 'in hand', no frame. Probably doesn't matter as much once you've secured the canvas to a frame.

I love those colors. Its just really beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Do you have a picture of the pattern to show what it will look like when it's done?
