Losing Steam

I am losing steam and momentum on LK's Time For God.  I don't know what it is, but for now it's going to go in my pretty Vera Bradley bag and take a stitchy nap.  I am going to start something small tonight, I think.

And taking a page from Spinster Stitcher, it seems that as of late I have ants in my pants when it comes to my stitching, yet again.  I am still playing with the scrapbook idea, as I thought it was just so fantastic.  What I am thinking now is taking the new LK Halloween Rules and stitching them all separately, without the top border and scrapbooking them.  And also taking the different LK ABC kits and stitching each letter separately and scrapbooking them together.  Or just maybe I am finally losing my mind!  LOL.

I received my latest JCS magazine issue in today's mail.  So glad, as it has two great charts, one from Country Cottage Needleworks and Blue Ribbon Designs!  And I also received a new desk calendar called The Daily Bitch.  It is just so totally me.

My favorite entry so far is:  I only have a kitchen because it came with the house.  Bwahahahahahaha.

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!  And stay tuned for new stitchy WIP's!!!

In peace, love, and stitches,
Danielle

I don't know if it will help or not, but I could join you in a SAL on Time for God (whenever you're ready to pick it back up - no rush). It wouldn't put any pressure on you, because I don't finish stitchy projects very quickly because my (real) work schedule wears me out. It's in my to-do bag, so just keep me in mind!

When you are not enjoying stitching a piece, it is the perfect time for a break!! I am interested in your scrapbook thoughts. I have never heard of this, but it is intriguing.

I'll miss watching you stitch on Time For God, but you'll get back to it when you feel like it ;)

I find it's always good to take a break when you get bored or frustrated with a piece.

Oh, I'll have to track down that issue!
